Discovering what hydrogen can do to decarbonize a city’s transportation - 21/06/2023

Aberdeen and the Aberdeen Hydrogen Hub joint venture already has big plans for hydrogen. To deliver hydrogen most effectively, a real working scale model of the city was built along with a digital twin. 

The data gathered from the Aberdeen model was used to better understand how to remotely optimise and control the electrolyser - the piece of equipment that produces hydrogen.

Ultimately, digital capability like this can help lower production costs in support of wider adoption of hydrogen.
